Liked: Really good hot shower!
Disliked: Rather basic corner of field, airy toilet/shower block.

From the manager: Christopher. So glad you enjoyed our excellent shower. I'm sorry that the style of camping we provide obviously isn't for you. Our customers love our site for its simplicity, star gazing, camp fires, the quiet and our proximity to the some of the most stunning scenery North Cornwall has to offer. Yes we don't offer facilities or activities outside of what's needed. But if you want kids clubs, swimming pools, and manicured pitches we were never going to be the site for you anyway. As for location we're less than 10 minutes walk from the local shop, and 25 minutes from the beach at Crackington haven with an excellent pub and 2 brilliant cafes as well as a beautiful beach that's lifeguarded in summer. Our many excellent reviews reflect what the majority of our fantastic returning customers think of us. I suggest possibly trying Newquay or Torquay. Thanks Jake @ Crackington Campite

Liked: Beautiful, peaceful spot with plenty of walks, lots of space, and nice clean facilities.
Disliked: There's nowhere to freeze ice packs so ignore that tick on the info, but you can buy bags of ice from the local supermarket (Bude) so easily sorted.

From the manager: Hey Sophie. Love that you enjoyed your stay. We actually do have freezing facilities but they're not in the field so it's a matter of seeing or/texting us. Sorry for the inconvenience we've got new signage going up explaining this imminently. Thank you for your review! Jake

Liked: Peaceful site in a great location for coastal walks and stargazing. With the use of solar panels I could also do some work due to the great three signal. Owner very friendly and helpful. Toilet block spotless and shower hot - perfect place will return

Liked: Ease of checking in, could pitch up anywhere on the field. Site was very quiet and away from the crowds. Clean toilets and hot shower were well maintained. Site warden/owner was happy to help with local information and give guidance on places to eat and places to visit.

From the manager: Hey Lauren, Thanks for your great review. Just wondering if the child friendliness rating was perhaps a mistake? A large percentage of our campers are families with kids that return year on year. Or perhaps its because we don't do playparks or entertainment like the big sites (all about the nature here!) Hope to see you guys again Jake
