Liked: The views were amazing, the toilets, showers and washing up station although basic were clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning as well.
Disliked: The only dislike was the four youngsters that were there and when they came back to the site about ten they then started to scream and fight and then the lads went and sat in their car and started playing what I assume was music, and that continued until about one in the morning. We did ring the campsite owners and left a voicemail, and we did receive a response the following morning saying they would look into the matter.

Liked: Beautiful views and a quiet lovely space to camp.
Disliked: The 2 portable toilets were a disgrace which was disappointing especially as we were the only people there.

From the manager: Whilst we did have an issue on Monday when unfortunately our toilet cleaning company had a vehicle breakdown, the toilets where completely emptied and cleaned on Tuesday. We are therefore suprised to read your review - as you say you where the only people there and we where very disappointed with how we found the toilets after you left? However I am glad you enjoyed the views and peace and quiet
Simple and natural campsite, some problems that need to be fixed!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Short stay in this campsite, which looks more like a pasture, so large without delimitation with an unobstructed view. Good contact with the host who was responsive Location of the campsite interesting because less than an hour from London, quiet. The practical sheltered kitchen area next to the bins.
Disliked: Practical place to wash and big enough with enough to put the toiletries. Hot water very very random however, we could not shower properly! Dirty toilets with bad smells during our visit, when we pull what is like a toilet flush from the portaloos

From the manager: Thank you for your review, I am sorry that we had a problem with the loos, the showers worked perfectly when the wind had died down in the morning.
Helpful owner. Enjoyed the stay.

Liked: Great location for London. Quiet. Good views. No hassle. Gas portable shower block. Dish wash station.
Disliked: Portable toilets are disgusting.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, I am sorry that the loos spoilt your other wise enjoyable stay. We had an issue with the guy that comes to clear the loos, sadly over a busy weekend. I had done my best to clean them but we do rely on them being emptied.
Just perfect. Massive field. We felt like we were on our own!!!
