Liked: Excellent site in a stunning location a couple of miles from Faversham town centre. The site managers are lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly with playing field area at the back for ball games etc... Strong wifi included. Good, clean facilities with decent showers and large washing up area. Shop in the reception area for supplies. Woods nearby for great dog walks and excellent pub with extensive beer garden a short walk away. What's not to like?

Liked: When we arrived at Painters Farm we were greeted by Karen and Simon ,they were very welcoming and friendly. Karen gave us a choice of 3 camping pitches to choose from, she also advised us on what way to park our Campervan to get the best view of the sunrise and sunset ,Karen was right ,the view was amazing. The land was flat ,we had plenty of space and the grass was nicely cut with beautiful trees dotted about. There was an extra area to play ball games which was a bonus. The toilet/shower block was nice and clean and so was the washing up area outside. This area was all lit up at night. There was a little shop selling a few essentials which was very handy and at a good price . Also there is an outside tap for drinking water. In the barn area was a tractor and a few farm items on display. My family and I enjoyed having fun and being together toasting marshmallows over our fire pit watching the sunset. Our dog also enjoyed his walks in the fields and strolling up the lane to a dog friendly pub were we had a delicious meal. This is the second time we have camped at Painters Farm and we will definitely be booking another visit very soon.

Liked: The campsite was lovely and peaceful, the facilities were great, and our vans had plenty of space. The campsite is run well with very friendly staff. It was just a short drive away to Whitstable and Faversham. It was great that cars had to be parked in a separate field so that it didn't look like a car park. I can't wait to go back.

Liked: Lovely welcome, clean showers and toilets, a well stocked shop with all the essentials , well maintained and level site, all set in the grounds of a beautiful farmhouse and surrounded by orchards. Handy having the local pub just a 2 minute walk away serving great food at very reasonable prices.

Liked: A very relaxed site, level, relatively small (45 pitches I think) surrounded by orchards & nearby excellent pub. Smallest shop (milk, bread, local eggs, few other bits) but not far from Faversham for local shops and supermarkets. The loos are clean, elsan is practical, washing up area is in a lean-to, fresh water taps in abundance, good electric points. Pub is fabulous (the Alma). Lots of groups of friends & families, often fairly local, evidently come regularly to meet. No late noise however & all very friendly. The managers, Simon & Karen live on site, are extremely approachable and keen you have a great time. The owners were also present and welcoming too. Central to a lot of historical sites, Thanet & Dover and only a couple of miles from the motorway. The immediate roads are narrow but not ridiculously so. Loved it.
Disliked: If you want entertainment provided, clear pitch lines, regimented rules and regulations then don’t come here. If you don’t like dogs (on leads) or laughter or children playing, think carefully.
