  • Adults-only campsite just a few minutes' drive from the M27
  • Romsey 10 minutes' drive; Winchester city centre 25 minutes
  • Pet-friendly camping in the grounds of an equestrian centre
Woodington Training Centre is a rural adults-only campsite in Hampshire in a convenient location just a few minutes' drive from the M27. This pet-friendly spot in the village of Woodington is easy to reach from attractive local towns and cities like Romsey (10 minutes' drive) and Winchester (just under half an hour) and is just under two miles from the edge of the New Forest National Park. This laidback site is set in the grounds of a local equestrian centre and is very pet-friendly, so feel free to bring well-behaved dogs along for the ride. The facilities at Woodington Training Centre are simple, but off-site amenities including shops and pubs are within easy reach just down the road in the village centre. The surrounding area is excellent for active outdoor breaks, and there are ample opportunities for pursuits such as fishing, horseback riding, walking and cycling nearby. Heading north on the A36, it's also easy to explore Salisbury, Stonehenge and Avebury in southern Wiltshire, while some of Dorset's best sandy beaches can be driven to in three quarters of an hour or less.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent or RV campsite

Liked: Lovely quiet site. Only had one portaloo but this was very clean and the site wasn't busy, so all fine. Great location for a cycle trip into the New Forest.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: Small and peaceful campsite. There is only one toilet but it was kept very clean. The owner was very friendly and gave us some local recommendations but also left us to come and go as we pleased. He was also very welcoming of our dog! Easy to find and relaxed atmosphere, would stay again!
