What customers say
A small, quiet site near a great pub with good food and ales. Praised for its relaxed vibe, level pitches, and clean washrooms. Minor issues with shower drainage and intermittent sink water noted, but overall a lovely, good-value spot many want to revisit.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We as a group really enjoyed our stay. The pub was a vibe on the Saturday night
Disliked Unfortunately the toilet/shower block really lets this site down.

Wouldn’t go again, but had a nice enough time.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Pub was nice, food was good and drinks reasonably priced.
Friendly enough vibe and nice location. Seemed everyone was quite chilled and having an okay time.
Disliked Facilities: low water pressure and unisex design meant there was only a limited capacity for a large amount of people. Sinks stopped working. Toilets stopped flushing. Everyone we spoke to was complaining about it.
Price: Expensive for what you get. No water facilities in the field such as a field tap, so everything has to be done from a big sink outside. Limited washing facilities considering the amount of people on site. Unisex toilets meant overcrowding.
Crowding: Bank holiday weekend was loud, like really loud. Very large groups of people smoking drugs, playing music loudly into the very late hours and beeping car horns.
A lot of people for a small field. Tents where packed together. It was alright but not recommended unless you enjoy "festival camping"
Lack of information: had no "check in experience" a lady eventually found us with a clip board but never explained what's what with the the site.

Friendly people, great pub but, definitely overbooked on this occasion
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked The pub
The campsite itself was lovely and when we arrived it was a little slice of paradise
Disliked I know it was bank holiday weekend so expected it to be full but, there was no water pressure or hot water as a result of the amount of people using the facilities
It was overcrowded in one field but there was plenty of space in the other
It all just could have done with a bit more organisation

Disliked Toilet block; cold showers; toilets stopped flushing for a bit; unisex; one sink to wash up (uncovered); Dog mess from dogs off lead.
