What customers say
This New Forest campground boasts a lovely wooded setting with ample space and freedom to pick your own spot. Guests rave about the spotless facilities, super helpful staff, and the chance to spot wild ponies. It's perfect for hikes and bike rides, close to Brockenhurst. Road noise and busy periods are minor drawbacks, as are some older showers. Despite this, most campers highly recommend it and want to come back.

Overall we would come back.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Considering how busy it was (we went 8th-10th August) it was busy, but noise level was quiet and all seemed to respect the quiet times.
Disliked Having only one disabled toilet/shower unit per block, seems crazy for the size of the site. Normal showers were dirty and not pleasant finding what looked like a head of hair all over the floor. Wasn’t just on one occasion, maybe they should be cleaned and checked more often.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Beautiful, clean camp site. Average facilities. Toilet and shower block clean and checked regularly. Plenty of cubicals for showing. Washing up area good size. With laundry room if needed for a small cost. Also a dog shower area. Fresh clean drinking water accessible all, over the camp site. Best of all the scenery is out of this would. Staff are friendly and happy to help from asking for directions or requiring a pump for the beds.
Disliked Maybe a bigger shop. But there are, shops not even a 10min drive

A great site and reasonably priced.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Place is beautiful and the pitches are really flat. Lovely to see the horses roaming around. The facilities were not too busy even though it is the summer holidays.
Disliked Some dogs were not kept on leads and subsequently there was dog poo on site that hadn’t been picked up.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked The location is amazing and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked It was very busy as you'd expect for a nice weekend in August which meant the toilets/showers were extremely busy and didn't remain clean for long.
