Liked: The welcome was outstanding. We arrived and found the reception was closed but before we could park a lady came out with the warmest of welcomes. Best we have had in all our stays in all the sites. The facilities were the best we have ever had. Clean tidy site. We loved that you catered for guests dogs as well. Not that we had one, it was lovely to see. Having washing up facilities was such a lovely thing to have. Site was tidy all around and well maintained. We were given a choice of pitches due to the extreme weather, we were moved to get out of the top fields which was such a lovely forward thought of the site management.
Disliked: Site management drove around the site early which was right next to our tent which woke us up. Don’t think doing a drive around that early was really needed.

Liked: We parked up on a non electric grass pitch. The pitch was very generous in size, our T6 campervan looked lost in it. The ground was well prepared and cut. The pitch was reasonably level, we could easily have levelled up with our wedges but decided not to bother. The toilet facilities were clean, 3 showers and 3 toilet cubicles in the building nearest us (there was another block). There were 6 sinks, two that could be made private with curtains. There is a small bistro cafe adjacent to the site by the fishing lakes where we ate. The food was good and reasonably priced. The onsite staff were friendly and welcoming and made the check in process easy. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our visit, we’d certainly come again. I didn’t try there WiFi and we didn’t have kids so we haven’t rated those.
Disliked: There is a sports field adjacent to the site that had kids football matches being played over the weekend, that created a bit of noise but didn’t really disturb us.

Liked: Immaculately kept, generously sized pitches and excellent shower and washroom facilities. Lovely staff. Horam Manor Country Park is idyllic on a summer evening with beautiful bird song all around.
Disliked: Nothing I disliked but ideally there would be WiFi across the whole site. Some washing up liquid in the washing up area would be good for people who forget to bring any.

Liked: Horam Manor Country Park is one of our top favourite places to stay. We have visited many times and never have we been disappointed, come rain, come shine. Starting with a warm and friendly welcome, everything is there to help make your stay a very pleasant one. The site itself is well kept, showing that the managers have a sense of pride in the place. We are usually on the lower part of the site, on hardstanding but there is a top field, with grass pitches, which is also very pleasant. The atmosphere at Horam Manor is quiet and relaxing, and although there is a busy road not too far away, we have never found it to be intrusive to the calm and peaceful ambience. The facilities in the newer block are top notch, with regulable showers (hurrah!), private wash cubicles, and everything is kept pristine clean. What we love about Horam Manor Country Park is that there is all you might need within reach. A lovely cafe, Lakeside, is just a few minutes walk off road from the site (not open Monday and Tuesday), where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, or one of any number of tasty dishes for lunch. The cakes are lush, too, especially the scones! It is licenced so you can enjoy a cool beer, or a glass of wine whilst you sit in the sunshine enjoying the view...or inside when it's chilly. Take your pooch with you as Lakeside Cafe is very dog friendly! Alongside the site is a fabulous recreation ground, with an all weather path encircling it. An huge children's play area, with skateboard ramps and aerial slide amongst the array of play equipment is there, along with outdoor table tennis tables and various gym equipment for the use of all. Walk through to the lower field and, as well as there being even more space for you and your dog to enjoy, there are some lovely allotments to admire. Off site, just a short walk into the village, there is a decent Co-Op, fish and chip shop (very good), butchers (highly recommended!), the Cuckoo Cafe (another lovely dog friendly place for breakfast/lunch/cakes), a chemist, vet, and a dentist. The doctors surgery is not far from the site... so all eventualities are covered! From the bottom of the high street you can access the Cuckoo Trail, a prior railway line which is now a beautiful tree lined path that goes right through to Heathfield one way, and Polegate the other. The Run Tin Tun pub is accessible from the Heathfield route, where a drink and a meal can be enjoyed in their fabulous tiered garden. It takes about 40 minutes to walk there, so you will have an appetite by the time you arrive! There is a bus stop nearby for those who might like to go further afield and not take the car/camper. As you may be able to tell we love it at Horam Manor Country Park, and you can hopefully also tell that it is a great place to stay and have everything to hand. The best thing for us is that we can set our old Mo-Ho up on arrival, then not turn a wheel again until we very reluctantly have to go home. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
Disliked: I would have to think very hard to find something to dislike!!
