Liked: Everything! Amazing place. I wouldn't care what time of the year we went. It's lovely and has all you need no matter what the weather. Our 1st visit was on our own last Aug 2023, no other people were on the site, so we had it all to ourselves. The pods are excellent. Well equipped, and nicely decorated with a lovely gesture from the owners in the form of a slate loveheart hung on the cupboard with a welcome note and our names. We spent a few hours in the hobbit hut around the fire watching stranger things that i downloaded onto a tablet as there is no wifi or tv's (which is good) We didnt need the tablet this time round because friends and extended family were occupying the other two pods. There was an easter egg on the bed in each pod (lovely touch). The weather was great and myself and my wife sat on the decking one afternoon drinking tea, watching the wildlife, rabbits, pheasants, squirrels and a deer 🦌 (only a fleeting visit but we did see one)and lots of birds. In the evening we went to the local pub for a meal then spent a few hours in the hobbit hut around the fire. We had such a laugh I'm sure the laughter was heard in the village! There is an umbrella in the pod so if there is a shower you can use it going to and from the hobbit hut. The hut looks lovely at night with the solar lights. You can set the desired temperature in the pods to suit you. There are logs and charcoal available for you to purchase and in the pods there is an honest box that you can put your payment in if you use any of the logs etc. If you go alone and there are strangers in the other pods then you can simply have your own fire or bbq outside your own pod. Win win. We will definitely be returning again alone and also with friends. See you soon
Disliked: The fact that we lost an hour due to the clocks going forward! Lol

Liked: Everything from your allocated parking to the coloured wheelbarrows to take your stuff down, they supplied everything you needed you literally just take your food and drink 😊 the huts are clean comfortable the best bed and you could hear just the birds and trees it was do quite even though there's 2 other huts they are well spaced out we didn't see anyone, the hobbit hut was so cute for BBQs and the walk to the village was 15 mins at most it's just a getaway from it all relax kind of place amazing 😍
Disliked: Nothing 🤷

Liked: The fully equipped pod. The hobbit hut was lovely and cozy with the fire on in the evening, that was also fully equip with everything you needed. The area itself where the camp is based was very tranquil, we even saw a deer on the last morning wandering around the pods.

Liked: The pod has everything you’d need from pots and pans, tea coffee, bbq and fire for when the weather holds out. It’s very clean and well thought out and the bed is very comfortable! The shower was warm and powerful and the towels were lovely and fluffy. The location was lovely and peaceful with lots of nice walks around it and close to a few nice pubs and cafes to grab food. Especially The Emmett pub for more of an upper class pub tea.
Disliked: We both work very fast pace jobs and were hoping for a nice lie in however, the sky light doesn’t have a blind and therefore we had to hang and prop a blanket up against it in order to have some darkness in the pod but the blinds on the door window let a lot of light through as well and therefore, we awoke at around 7am with the sun. My suggestion would be a blind on the sky light and a curtain to pull across the door. Then people would have the option to wake with the sun light. But that is our only grumble from the weekend. Other than that we had a great time.

Liked: Wow, this was a truly luxury glamping experience - you could happily live there with all of the brilliant facilities. Hot shower, cozy linen, heating and reliable kitchen facilities. The bed was so comfy and that’s just the pod! The location was gorgeous! We saw deer, rabbits, pheasant, woodpeckers, squirrels and lots of other small birds from right outside our pod. And the beautiful historic neighbouring towns were also a lovely place to drive through on our way to our planned activities. The hosts also very kindly left lots of information of places to eat, walks to go on and other attractions - and left a special birthday message for my sister.
Disliked: As a smoker, it felt a bit silly that we had to stand out in the rain in the car park to smoke when the site allows BBQs and fires on the site. I would understand if it was control the risk of fire but even e-cigarettes weren’t allowed apart from the designated car park area. It didn’t ruin our stay but was just a little inconvenient.
