Liked Lovely clean site with beautiful woodland trails perfect for short dog walks & Gruffalo hunting for children! Facilities are kept clean and have plenty of space, really impressed with the size of the showers! Extra facilities such as dog wash/welly wash which we thought were really good. The site is well kept with short grass, clear signage, well -kept flower beds. The owners were friendly, my partner enjoyed speaking to the man who owns the camp site a couple of times, they really got on well.
Disliked Nothing we disliked, just upset we didn’t book for longer! Definitely a site we will make the most of while it’s there!

Lovely, clean site, with the river Ribble within walking distance

Liked Clean, well kept site with a lovely wooded area for walking; really lovely touch. The facilities were kept tidy and clean too. We enjoyed walks down to the village, river and the Ribchester Arms for meals.
Disliked Overall we loved our stay, the thing that we would have loved even more would have been a laundry setup and fully serviced pitch options, although we got to test out our aqua roll and pump, which weren’t as awkward as we had feared!

From the manager: The site facilities on offer do not include fully serviced pitches, wifi or laundromat. We prefer that people are able to enjoy the rural location, on-site woodlands with well maintained shower block and manicured grounds at an affordable price.
Everything you want from a site.

Liked The whole site and amenities are well kept, clean and tidy. The pitches are roomy and easily accessible. Toilet facilities not too far to access and walkways are very well lit at night.
