Liked: The area around the camp site and that the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: No where to pit rubbish on site, toilet building needs some major refurbishment. The floor floods when shower is in use and can tell the work has been done via DIY.

Liked: We had a great time here, the fella was really nice and sent us a WhatsApp with a map before we got there. There's a walled off bit where you can kick a ball about. It suddenly went really hot and he gave us all an ice cream. There's a train that goes past, not very close or noisy or anything, but we liked watching them go by.

From the manager: We are sorry you were disappointed with cleanliness of the facilities, but as I hope you can understand we didn't put mud on the floor or in the shower. We check and clean our facilities regularly, and the site manager is available to be contacted on what's app at any time, if there is an issue. The wet weather has not helped, with the inevitable mud however we expect our guests to be respectful of other guests and where possible leave the facilities clean as they found them. On this occasion a guest had left the shower in quite a state which we dealt with as soon as we became aware.
