  • Glamping domes on the border between Yorkshire and Lancashire
  • A 20-minute drive from Skipton and half an hour from Bolton Abbey
  • Family-run site with cinema and barrel sauna evenings; walks from site
Deerstone Glamping is on the border of Yorkshire and Lancashire, a family-orientated site with glamping domes, run by Karin, Chris and family. Set in an 80-acre field, overlooking the spectacular landscapes of Pendle Hill and Ingleborough, this is a remote and secluded spot for families, couples and well-behaved dogs. The glamping domes come with storage, double beds and a combo of singles and bunks to match your needs. All bedding, towels and kitchen stuff is provided, along with a woodburning stove, cooler (for your food and drinks), a barbecue and firepit. Loos and showers are close by too. Get settled straight into your natty new home, relax, spark up a barbecue and listen to the birds chirp, see hares darting through the grass or – if you’re lucky – spot deer roaming onto the field. As the sun sets, watch as the shadows creep across the Lancashire hills, light your wood-burning stove, and cosy up with the family. The owners offer tractor rides around the grounds; a real treat if you’ve got a passion for machinery. Want to watch a movie? The huge cinema screen regularly plays family favourites. Prefer to get out and play? Help yourself to the play area, or use the expansive camping field to host games and picnics. Numerous walks and cycling routes can be accessed from the field: there’s something for all abilities but whatever route you choose, you’ll be among the same wonderful Lancashire scenery. The site owners are happy to advise on walking and cycling trails, as well as day trips and eating out.

Geodesic dome

Liked: Loved the pods so lovely clean with a small stove. The view was beautiful and so lovely and clean. Cannot recommend enough this was our first time glamping and would definitely do this again the owner Karin was so lovely and welcoming and so helpful. the bonus was also the sauna which was amazing well worth the money loved it 😍 lots to do nearby wow

Disliked: Would have been amazing if they had a cafe but you cannot have everything …there were facilities to use onsite and shops and pubs nearby.

Geodesic dome

Liked: Family friendly - it was obvious that Karin the host had children as everything was thought through to make the stay as relaxing as possible for parents. From the play park, to the cinema dome to the huge hill that our toddler happily ran up and down for 2 days whilst we enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. The accommodation it’s self was SPOTLESS and had all the facilities needed - everything is thought through. We brought so much stuff as we are seasoned campers but there was no need! Karin made us feel at home from the second we arrived. We felt really looked after and knew if we needed anything at all - there was someone on hand at all times. Thank you, thank you, thank you - feeling totally refreshed and relaxed after a wonderful 2 night break!

Disliked: Nothing.

Geodesic dome (hot tub)

Liked: Warm and friendly welcome and atmosphere,. Great place to relax, loved the hot tub, sauna and well may be a little the cold.plunge pool 🤣. The cinema geodome is also a great addition. Best of all, it's quiet, no.road noise etc. You can relax and forget about the daily grind of work

Disliked: Fridge in geodome a little too small, everything else perfect
