What customers say

Highly recommended family site! Spacious pitches, super clean facilities, and friendly owners. Thoughtful touches like free marshmallows & fire pits. Peaceful, relaxing, despite a little highway hum. Guests love returning.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked What a lovely campsite came here to camp for the first time with my little girl, lovely quiet site at night, toilet, shower and wash area had everything we needed everything clean and tidy, loved how the field isn’t packed with tents and everyone has their own little pitch, owners can’t do enough for you so welcoming marshmallows on arrival and then later bringing round the wood to purchase for the camp fire looking round that evening was lovely to see everyone with their fires going. Lovely touch seeing the sheep in one field and the cows in the other and then to top it off we could see the planes flying over that had taken off from Manchester airport. We will be returning thank you for a great stay.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying at this site! We were there over Creamfields weekend and felt incredibly well looked after. Andy, the owner, was a fantastic host, friendly, attentive, and clearly takes great pride in the place. The site itself is spotless, with excellent facilities and a great shower. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Peaceful. Good facilities, clean shower and toilet.

Disliked Pitches are not 10 x 10.
Fire puts ate spaced.5 metres apart.
Luckily I was pitched next time my sister. But if it was someone I didnt know, its too close for comfort.

Not all pitches were used and the owner said they book 15. The fire pits need to be more spread out.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Warm welcome, lovely site, clean facilities, marshmallows :)
Enough space between tents, not crowded.
Lots of children but space was big so enough space for everyone.

Disliked Quite noisy from the motorway. We stayed one night only so not an issue and I guess we would get used to it by second night.
