From the manager: I am sorry about your stay on our field. However, the discription of our site (field) is; Pitches at Heptonstall Camping are on a well-drained and pleasingly flat field with good access from the road. It’s a ‘wild-style’ camping setup here, so please note there are no toilets or showers on site, and you’ll need to be self-contained on that front. You’ll be allowed to bring a barbecue along to cook your meals (please note no open fires, however) and dogs are welcome on site too. So, I am surprised at your expectations
The camp site was easy enough to find, in a quiet area…

Liked: Very laid back, welcomed by the host who gave us lots of local information. The village of Heptonstall was very quaint and the 20 minute walk into hebden bridge was great. Lots going on in hebden. Water was available onsite.

Liked: Peaceful with beautiful scenery. Lovely views and very friendly owner.
Disliked: Very hard to find, got lost and no answer for directions on number provided. Just says campsite on the side of a container, which you can just about see from the road. I had no clue it was the right site other than asking other campers until the owner came later. All
