What customers say

This friendly, scenic campsite is loved for its proximity to the Emmerdale Woolpack. Guests rave about clean, roomy pitches, helpful staff, and a chill vibe, often watching local cricket. Some found the washrooms a bit dated and lacking, with occasional space and noise issues during peak times.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked The steward was really friendly. Also the pitches were level and quite spacious.

Disliked The shower and toilet facilities were very dated and not very clean with mould round the sealant. There was only one toilet and two showers in each of the male and female blocks and they were very basic. The shower tray filled up as if the drainage wasn't very good. Also it was quite a walk from the pitches to the facilities and no lighting which would be difficult in the middle if the night as a code was needed to unlock the outer door.

Liked Location was good

Disliked Ok little site, unfortunately we won’t be attending again my little boys ages 4 & 5 both have small electric bikes but was told they wasn’t allowed to ride them, were in 2025 but yet all campsites are still in 1980 you can’t do this you can’t do that.. I don’t see the difference in a small electric bike to a pedal bike?.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Beautiful surrounding countryside. Lovely river nearby. Lovely scenic relaxing places to sit & relax. Short 5 min drive to the small town of Baildon. Perfect for us. Campsite sports bar with balcony & other outdoor seating area in the sun. Flat, clean, good quality pitches with plenty of room for a car & caravan. Simple access in & out. Good communication from owner. Friendly wave this morning from owner. No noise. Had the best nights sleep in a long time. All-in-all a delightful small campsite & we'd definitely book again.

Disliked Nothing to say here. We did not use any facilities, electric or wifi, as we were self contained.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Felt welcomed when we arrived & had a great pitch next to family members. Showers & toilets are ok too along with washing up facilities. It was a shame the Clubhouse wasn't open whilst we were here - feel like missing a trick there for food & drink. Love the location for walks, plenty of pubs around for a good stroll.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked It was our 1st time camping in our tent. We had a fantastic 3 nights there over the August bank holiday weekend. We were greeted and shown to our pitch very quickly. The facilities were spot on. The weather was kind. Plenty of nice walks. Beautiful village.
