What customers say

Mill Farm: immaculate, peaceful site with spacious, level spots. Guests rave about spotless facilities (toilets, showers), owner friendliness & helpfulness. Woodland dog walk, village pub/shop are big pluses. Mostly stellar reviews, with a few minor notes on basic bathrooms & intermittent power.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Stayed one night in September, the week before the site closes for the winter. We had a lovely welcome by the owner who stayed to chat a little. Toilets were clean, showers good and the site was spotless. There is a pub a short walk from the campsite serving food although we only had a drink there. There is a bus service into town. We intend to return and spend a few night in the campsite, exploring the local towns by public transport.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked This was our second stay at Mill farm over recent months and just as last time we had a fabulous stay. A great site with large level pitches and lovely and clean toilets and showers. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the village shop and pub which serves great beer and food. The site is a perfect base for trips out to the various coastal towns of east Yorkshire. We will definitely be returning next year at some point. We would certainly recommend to any campers / tourers.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Lovely quiet location, with lots of space for children to run around and play. The toilets were clean, there was always loo roll and soap available. Lovely warm showers which were always clean. Local to village pub, shop and playground. The owner was friendly and welcoming and then pitches were generous and level.

Local attractions

From the park, you can be on quiet Moos Beach within 20 minutes’ walk. For days at bigger East Yorkshire resorts, think Bridlington (20 minutes’ drive) and its choice of sandy beaches, amusement arcades, rib and fishing trips from its harbour, and ornate tapestries in the 12th-century priory. Hornsea (10 minutes) is another family-friendly seaside gem, with a traditional prom, cuddly animals at Honeysuckle Farm and creepy-crawlies at Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo. Even if it rains there is always something to do – discovering some of East Yorkshire’s most historic houses for starters. Stately Burton Agnes Hall (15 minutes) has an acclaimed art collection as well as walled gardens scattered with topiary, while Tudor-era Burton Constable Hall and Grounds (25 minutes) is best known for its immaculate gilded interiors and walks through extensive parkland. If it’s longer walks that you’re after, stroll along the soaring chalk cliffs to the 17th-century lighthouse and stunning North Sea views at Flamborough Head (half an hour). Take binoculars on the cliff paths around RSPB Bempton Cliffs (also half an hour) to watch nesting puffins and gannets in their thousands between April and July.
