Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (wild)

Liked: really lovely stay. The campsite owners were so welcoming. They gave us a little tour when we arrived. And were just really friendly and chatty. We were right next to the alpacas which was great. they were friendly and we managed to feed and stroke them. The campsite is very well kept. The toilets are clean. There’s a nice little woodland walk in the campsite where you can build dens which was great. over all a really really lovely stay and would deffo come again and recommend. I hope the owners know how much of a good job they are doing. And how kind and helpfull, they should be proud of what they have created

Disliked: Absolutely lovely place. just would be great if there were some lights in the toilets. I do thinks they have tried to add some but not sure that they work. But over all was an amazing stay and nothing I disliked about the place

From the manager: Thank you for leaving a review Ella! Love the photos. Thanks for the heads up about the lights - we didn't realise they had stopped working. Oops! We'll replace them today :)

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (wild)

Liked: Very peaceful, spaced out and the alpacas were a good feature

Disliked: Check out could have been later

From the manager: Thanks for leaving us a review! Our check out time is based around alpaca walks which take place on site at 11am most days. We find it really disturbs our alpacas when people are putting down tents & using the bin store, trollies & car park. It's also not very nice for people who have booked a peaceful alpaca walk! However, we're always very understanding about the weather - often people ask if they can stay a little longer while their tent dries and so long as we are quiet - we don't mind at all. We're a very relaxed site! :)

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (wild)

Liked: Everything, nothing was too much trouble and site was clean and well maintained. Despite torrential rain the day before our arrival the owners still made sure we had a nice, dry pitch. Facilities were excellent and the "wild" feel of the site was just what was needed!

Liked: Very friendly owners for who this is a passion as much as a business. Generous spaced out pitches, super clean facilities. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Alpaca meet and greet is unmissable, especially with children.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (wild)

Liked: Everything! Had the most magical weekend with our family and friends. The owners are the friendliest of people and super welcoming. The facilities were immaculate and well kept. The site was really peaceful, they don’t overcrowd and it’s spread out with a lovely buttercup field in the middle. They have a cute little gift shop for the kids to spend their pocket money and get souvenirs. Then there’s the alpacas! They are just brilliant! If they have a space for the meet and greet you MUST do it! Overall it has to be the nicest site we have stayed at, and we have stayed at A LOT! will 100% be returning.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (wild)

Liked: Absolutely loved this camp site, toilets and showers were amazing and very clean. Dotty the caravan was a great thing to do as the weather was very cold and rainy. The on-site shop was really lovely, and the alpaca merch was really cute, we got some stickers for our camper van! The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a tour and we got to feed and meet the alpacas! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.
