Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Nice campsite close to the city, but feels isolated. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. Owners are friendly and helpful. Loved the fire pit.
Disliked: Car not close to pitch, however some barrows were provided to move our gear.

Liked: Beautiful setting, lovely hosts, kids had a wonderful time exploring, running wild, crafting, cooking over the communal fire area, Ruth was on hand to help and advise, lots of wildlife around us, we LOVED staying here, our 7 year old declared it it the best campsite he’s ever been to!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Great little site with grass pitches and woodland. The 3 of us (2 adults 1 14yr old) pitched in the trees with tarps and bivvy/hammock and had sole use of the communal fire pit as we were the only ones there due to poor weather 1st couple of nights. We usually wildish camp so this place was great with addition of shower. Very peaceful, and well located to visit other areas on the coast. Host was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Will be visiting again definitely.
Disliked: Nothing. A longer season would be better ie autumn winter.

Cornflower bell tent
Liked: Well, what can I say!! A piece of woodland paradise. We stayed for 2 nights with 3 young children and a large dog. The bell tent was spacious, with lovely clean bedding and comfy beds. Basic cooking equipment was provided with a tripod grill and fire pit. Ruth the host could not do enough for us, what a lovely lady. I would encourage all of you to pay a visit, I’m so pleased I stumbled upon this beautiful little place. Thankyou for a fab weekend x
Disliked: Nothing at all! What a super place. No wifi available but I wouldn’t expect a place like this to have it anyway!

Disliked: Suggest an extra trolley/wheelbarrow to help with carrying from car to pitch.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Peaceful surroundings on the edge of a small wood. Safe for my 5 year old to explore with me as the cars where parked away from the camping area. Lots of small wildlife to spot including dragonflies, frogs and various birds. Good dark skies for looking at the stars. The hammocks were very relaxing. Fabulous shower and other eco facilities, including solar mobile phone charging. We really enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: We had to queue for the loo a couple of times, an additional toilet would be a bonus.
