Liked: The site itself is a lovely set-up. We were camping and pitches were clearly marked with plenty of room for big tents to be accommodated and still feel like you're not camping on top of people. It's fairly quiet during the day but those who come alive on an evening still considered the quiet time rules which I think are fair (10 or 11pm until 7am) depending on school holidays. Toilet block and showers are well looked after and comfortable. The addition of the little cafe is great. Katie, who owns the place and seems to do everything is really pleasant with everyone she speaks to, bakes fresh pastries, sells coffee and cakes from small local businesses in nearby towns and still has a few treats for the kids on offer at really reasonable prices. This had limited opening hours (again, depending on school holidays) but it's perfect for anyone just missing that morning treat.
Disliked: It was a shame that the weather was poor which is no fault of the camp site and I wouldn't knock off stars for that. It did affect the route which leads to the camping field though. This became really boggy and left you trying to navigate the grassiest route to the toilets towards the end. Again, with camping, this can be expected so go prepared with wellies to make that trek more comfortable.

Liked: Level pitches ,very clean showers with plenty of hot water
Disliked: A bit shocked it’s got a rating on 9.7 ,the showers always have water all over the floor this is due to poor design of the cubicles so almost impossible to get dressed without getting clothes wet with no Storeage in showers for shower gel shampoo etc , the sink bowls very small so difficult to use to wash etc , The hard standing pitches not practical with all the rain ( normal uk) you have to drive over grass , the layout of the site is poor design you almost feel on top of everyone , the gate is never locked so no control on who comes in or out This no way reflects on Katie who was very polite and helpful but it’s a poor designed and not practical site and unfortunately won’t return

Liked: Easy to access. Good clean toilet/showering facilities. Hard road round all the pitches. Easy access to the trail for walking/biking, we did bike to hull, took approx 35 minutes. Biked and walked to hornsea with the kids a couple of times too, didn't take long at all. Supermarket not far away at all for supplies! Will be nice when the landscaping is more mature. Cannot comment on the WiFi, if it was available we didn't know and didn't use it!
Disliked: Needs dedicated area for kids to play games on as although there is grass spaces nothing is allocated so they just play where they want and go inbetween the caravans to access it! Would also be nice to have a bit of info on arrival regarding the waste depositing points/water points/what is on site/nearest supermarket etc, but if you go to the toilet block/reception area you can find some stuff out and then Google the rest!
