  • Free access to a nine-hole golf course
  • Set over 130 acres with extensive views over the Yorkshire Wolds
You'll find high-up views over the Yorkshire Wolds from this rural site: High Farm Holiday Park sits up on 130 acres of parkland and woodland with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. Six miles from Beverley, the farm has set up several facilities for guests looking for a peaceful parkside time, including a two-acre fishing lake stocked with carp, tench, roach and perch; a nine-hole par 3 golf course, a bowling green, a play area, a boules rink and a coffee shop. Pets are welcome. The park has used eco-friendly materials aplenty in its amenities building, which uses a ground source heat pump powered by solar photovoltaic panels for its underfloor heating and a rainwater harvesting system gathering water to flush the toilets. The building is made from sustainably-sourced timber and has its own effluent treatment plant. Essentials are sorted at the site shop, and there's also a launderette.

Camping pod (hot tub, no pets)

Liked: We loved this place we stayed for 3 nights in the pods as part of our mini moon, upon arrival the pod had been dressed with banners and balloons which was a lovely touch, the pod was lovely and clean and staff were really friendly and welcoming, lovely location driving distance to most places , has a shop and a lovely little cafe on site, we will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Disliked: No dislikes at all !

Camping pod (hot tub, no pets)

Liked: Great well kept site in good location for East Coast attractions. Great facilities, free use of 9 hole golf course, playground, cafe / restaurant & shop (not always open) all the staff were welcoming. Stayed in pod 5, which was clean and spacious and also has hot tub. If you are staying in the pods, These are on the touring site, which isgreat for kids, ours made lots of friends and played late in to the night.

Disliked: Shop isn't always open and the 10th hole cafe / restaurant closes early.

Camping pod (no pets)

Liked: The site on a whole. Big site but very well maintained and clean. The staff super friendly. The pod was superb, very clean, plenty of space for me and my son. My son loved the golf course after taking a recent interest.

Disliked: Not a dislike, but the wifi/phone signal at the pod area isn't very good. Don't rely on it is all I will say....I wasn't bothered at all as I don't need it, my 10 year old son however was a little disappointed on an evening but we did manage to mobile hot-spot to phone in the end

Camping pod (pet friendly)

Liked: The pod was well equipped with more than enough space for 2 adults with a large dog. The location is great for visiting the coast, if you prefer to stay on site there was plenty to do, golf, fishing or a woodland walk. Local pub and on site cafe serving lovely food and drinks.

Disliked: There wasn’t much to dislike. If I’m being picky I would say that the placement of the mirror in the bathroom could have been better to make access to the sink easier.

Local attractions

The historic East Riding town of Beverley is a handy six miles from High Farm Holiday Park, and is home to Beverley Racecourse and Beverley Minster as well as shops, restaurants, pubs and a busy market. (And Britain's oldest state school: Beverley Grammar School has been in the education game since around 700 AD.) Within nine miles is The Deep at Kingston upon Hull, a huge aquarium that's one of the biggest in Britain: head here to see over 3,500 fish and many marine species (penguins!), and for many family-friendly activities like dive shows and penguin feeding. If you're feeling beachy, the coastal town of Hornsea is within easy reach; if cultural, have a day in Hull, named UK City of Culture in 2017.
