Lots of space and some splendidly scenic views are part of the package when you stay at Field View Certified Location, a family-run East Yorkshire site that’s available exclusively to members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
As the name suggests, this site looks out over the surrounding fields – and with half an acre shared between just a handful of guests there’s plenty of room for you to relax and enjoy that peaceful atmosphere. Each of the numbered pitches has an electric hook-up and you’ll have access to fresh water and waste water points along with a guest toilet facility.
This is an attractive part of the world to explore on foot or by bike – look for details of suggested routes in the information booklet on site. That’s just one of the things provided in the site’s information point, which also has plenty of leaflets about local attractions and a reviews board where guests can share their local tips. Bus stops are within walking distance of the site for those times when you’d like to travel further afield – perhaps to the seaside at Hornsea or to the city sights of Hull.
With plenty to do nearby, you’ll want to fuel up with a good breakfast – and that’s made easy here with fresh eggs for sale daily. At the end of the day, get your barbecue going or take the 10-minute walk to the local pub in the village of Leven for a meal and a local pint.
