  • Campsite at a Norfolk working farm on the outskirts of Warham village
  • Five minutes’ drive to Wells-next-the-Sea; Holkham Beach 20 minutes
  • Dog-friendly pitches only 15 minutes’ walk from a good local pub
Wondering where to take that well-earned family break? Wonder no more; just book your pitch at North Norfolk’s Grove Farm Campsite, set on a working farm on the outskirts of the flint-built village of Warham. Low-key, peaceful and calm, the site is nevertheless handy for strolls to the local pub, dog walks in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape wetlands (10 minutes’ drive), days out on the beach at Wells-next-the-Sea (five minutes), and visits to stately homes or ancient forts. The two pitching fields (the tourer pitches have electric hook-ups, the tent pitches do not) have countryside views and are sheltered by mature trees. On sunny afternoons, red kites are often spotted soaring above the meadows, and during the evening, you may get lucky enough to catch a glimpse of deer grazing in the meadows. Barbecues are permitted for family meals on site, but if you’re looking for a pub, take the leisurely 15 minutes’ stroll to the local to sample home-cooked pies, classic pub dishes and traditional Sunday roasts – and there are three more good foodie options within 10 minutes’ drive.

Silkie primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: The peacefulness and views. Price was good and good communication with owners

Disliked: The compostable toilet could’ve been done with being emptied more or a bigger container so it didn’t fill up so much

Bantam powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: We love this area and the new owners were very pleasant. They don’t bother you to much but are there if you need them. The pitches are big enough and the site has a great feel.

Disliked: Not a dislike from us but there is just one compost toilet if your camping.

Bantam powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: This was a first stay for me and an enjoyable one as I love a peaceful, country site like this. A splendid spot and ideal to explore the delightful village of Warham, including the nearby Warham Camp, Three Horseshoes pub etc. I'd be delighted to return there again in future.

Disliked: Nothing of note.

Liked: Lovely quiet campsite with great pitches, basic facilities and great location close to wells beach and lots of countryside walks. Clear instructions on arrival and all round fab stay and value for money. P.s. the nicest compostable toilet I've used!

Disliked: Not a dislike but would recommend earplugs as you are woken up to cockrels early!
