Liked: Excellent water pressure in the showers, fire pits to borrow. The site is beautiful and fun, loads of wildlife, i was visited by an otter and listened to the tawny owls every night. Oh and the night sky is dark. The owners are friendly and easy going.

Liked: Lovely quiet site in a peaceful location. My husband loved fishing in the lake . Lovely friendly welcome when we got there .

Primitive grass campsite

Liked: Very nice and helpful hosts. Large pitches. Extremely clean and well maintained shower/toilet block. Beautiful settings very relaxing and calming. Great location for the stunning Norfolk coastline. Definitely recommend. Definitely will stay again.

Liked: The campsite is held in beautiful surroundings . The lakes ,lily pads and swans are so pretty. This is an ideal place to stop to explore Norfolk . The owners were very friendly .

Local attractions

For everything coastal, you’ll want to home in on Comer (20 minutes' drive). Whether it’s sticking to the sandy beaches, braving the surf or walks up on the Norfolk Coast Path, you’ll find plenty to do around the sea. All that water action isn’t just limited to the coast, though, as Wroxham (half an hour) is your go-to for boating in the Norfolk Broads. A little trip back in time is a good addition to any itinerary and as well as cycling and fishing on the grand Blickling Estate (10 minutes), you might want to pick up a heritage train trip on the Bure Valley Railway (10 minutes) or sniff around the Muckleburgh Military Collection (30 minutes) to see artefacts of old… or East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden (25 minutes) for all the scents of a sublime garden. And where else for some nostalgic-type moseying around? Mundesley (15 minutes) is a fine example of a traditional Victorian seaside village. Or, there are beach huts and the promenade at Sheringham (25 minutes) for another classic seaside outing.

A state-issued fishing license is required (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
