Liked: EVERYTHING! The owners were amazing. The location is just incredible. The people there super friendly. We had our little sausage dog with us and he was so well behaved (well I think so) and he run around for so long he been asleep ever since we got back. We can't wait to go back for longer than one night!

Disliked: It's not a dislike just a suggestion that maybe a communal fridge would be helpful, especially as its getting so hot (for a week or so) it's just something to maybe implement.

Liked: Really friendly welcome. Plenty of space for the two of us in our campervan in a gloriously peaceful site, with spectacular views across open countryside. Enough room for everyone to be far enough apart to not disturb each other. Firepits and wood available, although we didn't use them. Excellent toilet/shower facilities, really clean. Oh and lots of super friendly dogs around too, I think we were the only campers without one! Would happily stay here again.

Liked: Lovely site, great views, plenty of space and our granddaughter loved the wild meadow areas that crisscrossed the site. Fantastic welcome, loved the fire pit and marshmallow service to our pitch. Immaculate facilities. Freezer available for campers to re-chill freezer blocks. Peaceful even over a very sunny weekend.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The pitches are nice and spaced out which allowed the kids to play and enjoy themselves without us worrying about disturbing others. The amount of room across the whole site led to a quiet and peaceful stay.

Disliked: The single shower meant having to queue.

Local attractions

When it comes to getting stuck into the north Norfolk coast, you might want to get a ticklist going…there’s Overstrand beach and Walcott beach to see and crabbing on the pier in Cromer (all 15 minutes' drive). Keep ticking them off: the lighthouse in Happisburgh (20 minutes), seal spotting at Blakeney Point (40 minutes) and Waxham (35 minutes) or sandy beaches at Sea Palling (half an hour) and Wells-next-the-Sea (55 minutes). The latter has a gorgeous fishing port running seal-watching trips. Inland’s just as excellent. There’s a generous handful of National Trust properties within driving distance of Meadow View, plus ways to get out onto The Broads in Wroxham (half an hour). You might want to board the Bure Valley Railway there or join The North Norfolk Steam Railway in Sheringham (25 minutes). For all you budding historians, Weybourne (half an hour) has the Muckleburgh Military Collection too. Family-friendly ventures are easily sourced, with various entertainments in North Walsham (10 minutes), treetop adventures at BeWILDerwood Norfolk (half an hour) and all the attractions in Great Yarmouth (50 minutes) like Pleasure Beach, Britannia Pier and Sea Life Great Yarmouth.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Please note, pup tents are to be used for storage purposes only. Guests may not use them for sleeping.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Vehicles

The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
