  • Multi award-winning site in the Norfolk Broads
  • Treehouse, zipwire, miniature golf and 18-hole putting course
  • Heated pool, plus seasonal bar and restaurant
Cool camping, family fun or hiding out in The Dell? Take your pick from these – and more – at Clippesby Hall, a multi award-winning site in the Norfolk Broads National Park with eight different camping areas and activities on site from golf to cycling. Energetic pipsqueaks will like the family-orientated and spacious Cedar Lawn touring space (with zipwire courtesy of local adventure BeWILDerwood), or South Park set between the pool and the miniature golf course. Want a quieter break? Head to the hidden woodland pitches in the Dell or the spacious pitches of the Pine Woods and the Heath. Whichever pitch you pick, there’s enough to do on site that previous guests have said they didn’t leave the park throughout their entire break: as well as the pool and the miniature golf course, there’s an adventure play area – and a less adventurous one with swings and sandpit – and archery lessons available for a small extra charge. A bike hire centre is also on site, as is a cycle trail: the flat landscape all around Clippesby Hall is suitable for even small legs when pedalling, with plenty of stops along the way for birdwatching, fishing and boating. The centre hires out bikes for all ages, with Norfolk Broads routes, helmets, locks and repair kits all provided free. BeWILDered by all the choices before you? Clop along to the friendly experts at Clippesby Hall’s award-winning information centre, who can tailormake your day out.

Local attractions

The Norfolk Broads area has several cycle routes, including the National Cycle Network's Route 1 from Wisbech and Fakenham on the Hull to Harwich route, and Regional Route 30 connecting the north Norfolk coast with the east coast and Great Yarmouth. Use Clippesby Hall’s Discovering the Broads guide to plot your Norfolk days out: as well as cycling, a boat trip along the Broads is a must – row or paddle your way along, take a guided cruise, go aboard a Norfolk wherry or learn to sail. Electric Eel boat trips take in the wildlife of the Broads and the How Hills National Nature Reserve; find info on this fen at the Toad Hole Cottage or bring along your binoculars for some birdwatching and nature spotting. This area of Norfolk is known for its rare wildlife species: the Hickling Broad Nature Reserve within reach of Clippesby Hall has guided boat trips along the Broads.
