Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: A nice relaxed site 15 min drive from Malvern. Good hot shower and clean facilities Lovely area with nature walks and a shop and cafe close by. Short walk away from a river perfect for a dip to cool down Camp owner came down to the site to warned about a coming storm (no signal at campsite)

Liked: Great site! Perfect for private camping but still so much to do around the area. The utilities were perfect.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Excellent location for what we were looking for - a wild camping style location to step away from the world. BBQ's allowed, dogs allowed, a campfire area and local amenities near by should you need. Composting toilet and a hot shower with biodegradable products supplied that are kind to the wildlife - what else do you need :) The nature walks nearby are great for kids and adults. The kids loved playing along the river bed which is not too far away and swimming among the fishes. We'll definitely be back

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Very quiet and peaceful with plenty of space. The friendly site manager was nearby if we needed anything. The basics were provided: nice warm shower and phone charging etc. Lovely to have the lake and river trails just the other side of the hedge for a walk/run, and a great vegetarian cafe too. We chose the location because it was handy for the Malvern hills (15-20 minutes’ drive).
Disliked: The compost toilets took a bit of getting used to but actually they weren’t too bad!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The facilities, although a compost toilet it was well maintained, spacious and easy to use with the instructions. The shower was clean and warm, we loved the fact the site is eco friendly and supplies the products in order to ensure it remains an eco friendly environment. We were welcomed by friendly staff and given an information sheet on arrival and felt nothing would have been too much trouble if any queries arose. We liked the forest, nature trails and local river. We didn’t get the opportunity to utilise the cafe but if we stay again we certainly will make an effort to visit! We loved the fact that we were able to choose where to pitch up, the grass had been cut and that cars were encouraged not to be parked next to tent. Being allowed to have it there for ease of set up and decamp was helpful.
Disliked: These are minor issues and not “Dislikes” as such. Very enclosed by trees with no views of the local countryside. Although it did mean kids were able to roam freely in a safe environment. Although it’s an eco friendly campsite, so overgrowth of grass areas will encourage wildlife, it would have been great to have a cut grass area for the kids to play with a frisby/ball. In the mornings it was obvious how close to the A road we were, however I still slept well!
