Liked: Pitches are a decent size, toilet/shower facilities brilliant!!

Disliked: This is our 2nd visit to the site. Because of the trees we can't get our satellite tv to work 😢

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you Helen, we are glad you decided to return for a second visit, Satellite signal is a bit hit and miss, however, normal tv signal is good even with the trees. Although you could ask for a pitch that is not under the trees and we will do our very best to accommodate. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Wishing you all the very best from Zoë, John and the Lincomb team.

Liked: Warm welcome from Zoe, in fact the whole team are friendly and helpful. The pitches are mostly level, some tilt back a little, which works well with our van. Every pitch is fully serviced and neatly presented. The site on the whole is well maintained and this was evident by the team during our stay. The washroom was immaculately clean, each cubicle contains toilet, shower and sink.

Disliked: Not a dislike, just to make people aware. The shower block is up a short hill, which could be difficult is you have mobility issues. There are willow trees, which you drive under to access some pictures, the branches may drag on tall vehicles (we were in low profile motorhome and brushed against the trees)

From the manager: What a fantastic review Mark, thank you. Your kind words and words of wisdom are very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Wishing you all the very best from Zoë, John and the Lincomb team.

Local attractions

Stroll along the canal to the town of Stourport-on-Severn (and past moored boats that will make you seethe/weep with envy) for shops, restaurants and a riverside recreation area with pleasure rides, crazy golf, bowling, putting greens and self-drive boats. Stourport was once a thriving inland port, and the Stourport Canal Basins tell the tale of their heyday in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. They've recently been restored and now have pubs, cafés and restaurants to sup in and watch the boats going through the locks, as well as their five basins with listed houses and warehouses alongside around a hundred narrowboats and yachts. Also nearby for heritage hunters are the Severn Valley Railway, Bewdley Working Museum, Hartlebury Castle (with the Worcestershire County Museum), Witley Court and Harvington Hall. Ancientness of a natural sort is highly recommended at Wyre Forest, while wildlife hunters can trek around the West Midlands Safari Park for over 165 species, a safari drivethrough and a theme park.
