Liked: Great, small site with excellent facilities. The toilets and shower area were impeccably clean and the owners are very environmentally friendly providing plant based soap, laundry liquid and washing up liquid for guests to use. Lots of helpful information was provided by the owners including walks in the area, places to eat and a discount voucher for the nearby pub.

Liked: We stayed for 3 nights in April and this was a lovely site with well maintained pitches (freshly mown), fantastic views over to the hills, and a great washroom block that was clean, tidy, well equipped and with lovely warm showers. There was plenty of local information on walks, a dish wash area, also access to washing facilities, and a little shop for essentials that you may have forgotten. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the site was lovely and tranquil. We were also lucky to experience one of the wonderful sunsets that can be seen from the site. As well as being dog friendly, the site owners care about the local ecology and the site has a lovely feel to it with wildlife and the environment being central to how they run the site. It really was a delightful space and we would definitely return. With some nice local dog walks and Evesham a 10 minute bus ride away (the bus stop is about 100m from the site entrance) there are opportunities to explore locally or travel further afield.

From the manager: We appreciate that not everyone will enjoy our peaceful site with beautiful views. Your review lacks detail and we are struggling to understand what you didn't like about our site, however I believe you may be referring to our dogs on leads policy of which you did not follow.

Liked: Close to town centre with bus stop outside campsite. Can bus ride to nice locations for the day. Dark sky with no campsite lighting other than toilet block which makes hardly any difference. Small and secure.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about

Liked: 1st Class Shower & Toilet facilities and extended facilities such as washing machines & dryer , very clean & warm and lovely hot water, excellent hard standing and very clean and easy chemical and grey water waste set up.
Disliked: Minor issue, pitch 4 had some wood / bark chipping spread on the grass area which was a pain when wet as it trailed into the van .. and made the inside of the awning messy .. not a major problem just an inconvenience.. none of the other pitches had this ..
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: John thank you for leaving a review and for your kind words about our toilet block. So pleased you had everything you needed - the wood chip was to cover and soak up all the mud, so a necessary addition on such a wet winter.
