  • Alpaca farm within the Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark
  • A 15-minute drive to the Severn Valley Railway and a safari park
  • Alpaca treks and picnics available on site; picnics areas and games
Stunning views across the Severn Valley? Sorted. Severn Valley Alpacas is a well-maintained site on an alpaca farm, where you’ll get to listen to the whistling of the Severn Valley Trains and wildlife. Home to a breeding herd of alpacas, the farm can also arrange trekking, alpaca experiences and even alpaca picnics for an additional fee. There are several picnic tables in private, quiet locations for your own human-only picnics. There’s a nature area set up in the site’s orchard. If the kids need to let off steam too, there’s a selection of toys for younger kids and outdoor games for the slightly older ones (they’re next to the ducks). As a rural setting, it’s easy to get out onto public footpaths or local hill walks (and it’s very much quiet and relaxing on site). A shorter stroll of about 40 minutes will get you to the village of Alveley, which has a stunning church, shop, Chinese takeaway and an Indian restaurant and takeaway (there’s delivery available, subject to a minimum spend). There are also three pubs, which serve a range of food: a carvery, breakfast buffet on the weekend, Sunday roast, pizzas and fish and chips.

Liked: Love the friendly welcome and location. Stunning views. Alpacas on site as well as other animals. Right on footpaths without the need to drive to access them. Only one chemical toilet, but in a renovated shed, so was really nice and kept immediately clean. No running drinking water on site, but provided with ample bottled drinking water. Play area for younger children and games for older children provided. Amazing 4G four bar phone signal.

Disliked: Pitches on a slope. Quite windy

Liked: Absolutely amazing place to stay/visit. Stunning views and plenty to see. Severn Valley Alpacas is safely enclosed allowing children to explore the great outdoors. The alpacas are so lovely, along with the horses and ducks. We had some lovely walks around seeing all of the animals and feeding the alpacas. Lorraine and Andy are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. Severn Valley Alpacas has now become our 'home' for our family camping breaks.

Liked: Writing this review as we sit in our tent! Came to Severn Valley Alpacas for our first camping trip as a family. Lorraine and Andy were very friendly and helpful. The views are stunning and there are plenty of things to do for children, and other animals to see. Severn valley alpacas is enclosed and very safe for children to explore. We even got to feed the alpacas which was amazing. Lorraine answered lots of questions and we learnt a lot. Severn valley alpacas will be our 'go to' for camping and we can't wait to come back. Thank you Andy, Lorraine and family for a wonderful time. See you soon.
