What customers say

This small, quiet site earns rave reviews for its spotless, modern facilities, especially the showers. Hosts are praised as friendly, helpful, and welcoming, sharing local tips. Enjoy beautiful rural views, great walks, and easy access to villages and pubs. Most guests loved it, though a few mentioned crowded toilets and no soap at busy times. Power optional cement/asphalt and grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We had such a lovely time at this campsite! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, even sending a helpful email with local attractions and recommendations before our arrival, which we really appreciated.

The pitches were a great size, offering plenty of space and privacy. The whole site was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. The facilities were spotless, the toilets and showers were exceptionally clean, which made a big difference to our stay.

It's also in a fantastic location, close to several charming villages and with a lovely walk nearby for anyone who enjoys getting out in nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended!

Liked The hosts were so lovely and kind people and very responsive by email. There are maps with walking paths near by as well. And it is beautiful star gazing.

Local attractions

If you’re here to soak up as much rural scenery as possible there are lots of ways to do that, including some gorgeous walking/cycling trails through the hills and stops at spots like the Rollright Stones (20 minutes’ drive) and Broadway Tower (35 minutes). Wychwood Wild Garden (five minutes) and Batsford Arboretum (half an hour) are top picks for nearby garden visits. The towns and villages around here are just as pretty as the landscape, of course, so it’s worth planning trips to the likes of Burford (10 minutes), Bourton-on-the-Water (20 minutes) and Stow-on-the-Wold (20 minutes). Fabulous architecture and outdoor spaces are also on hand in places like Cornbury Park (five minutes) and Blenheim Palace (20 minutes). For family days out, you can join all sorts of events at FarmEd (five minutes), meet exotic beasts at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens (15 minutes) and Crocodiles of the World (15 minutes) or hang out with cute farmyard animals at Cotswold Farm Park (half an hour).
