FHU cement/asphalt and grass campsite

Liked: Its a nice attractive site and we found it peaceful and quiet, generously sized pitches, two amenity blocks, one built in local stone, very attractive, the other built more like a metal barn, not so keen on that one, though looked pretty in the dark lit up pink. The facilities were OK, nice basins and mirrors. Nice fishing lake on site, we don't fish but enjoyed walking around it.

Disliked: The facililties were OK, but shower cubicles were a bit cramped, nowhere to put things to keep them dry like I've found on other sites, I put all my things in several plastic bags while showering but its a bit of a bother, the showers were nice and hot though.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Fantastic site ,check in was really smooth. We are new to caravanning and staff was brilliant. Location of touring pitch was perfect no.26 as plenty of space to position twin wheel axle. Site was clean all over not even one piece of litter brilliant. The location to relax dog walk was top draw around lakes or even through woods and along fields by sheep . Peaceful place highly recommend, will be back for sure. Thanks pitch up for having a wonderful site on your page would give ten star rating but can only leave 5

Liked: Everything, great staff, spotless facilities, beautiful setting, lovely walks. Good pitch

Disliked: Not a big problem but shower cubicles bit small, so clothes on the door hook get sprayed .

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Pleasant site, we had a super pitch with all facilities and everything worked so we were very happy!

Disliked: Considering we were rural we were surprised at the road noise as it was obviously a cut through to the M40. Having said that , after night one we both slept brilliantly!

Camping pod (four person)

Liked: We stayed in a camping pod, which was as described, perfect for poor-weather-camping! Nice, quiet spot. Location was great for visiting Oxford (took advantage of the park & ride)

Disliked: Good facilities- toilet / shower block / washing up area, BUT they weren't cleaned at all during our 2 night stay.

Camping pod (family, six person)

Liked: Peaceful environment, nice surroundings. Pod was lovely and warm and clean.

Disliked: Toilet and wash facilities were quite dirty, cleaned at around 4am only so towards the afternoon/evening they needed a mop and clean. Plus only two toilets and two showers in the ladies.

Local attractions

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
