Local attractions

The river Humber with its riverside walks and breathtaking views of the Humber Bride and Hull on the other side. Hull has lots to see and do, you could visit its amazing aquarium ‘The Deep’ just 30 minutes away, the marina has a mixture of restaurants and bars. The Humber Bridge is a tourist attraction in itself with the ability to walk across or take in the amazing views from the Ropewalk park. There are viewing areas at Barton-upon Humber 4 miles away, Barton has Tesco, Lidl and small independent shops, a garage pubs and restaurants, Take the train to Barton and to the coast at Cleethorpes from Goxhill. Our nearest village of Barrow Upon Humber is the home of John Harrison, it has a good fish and chip shop and the nearest pub. Goxhill itself is a very picturesque village and also has a couple of shops including a good sized CO-OP with cash machine. There is also a pop up pub in the village hall from time to time. There is a good choice of take aways who deliver to the caravan park from the local villages.
