Power optional grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Small site, which to us is an advantage. Very quiet, which we liked. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Amenities were sparce but more than adequate. We met some lovely fellow "campers" whilst there. We would certainly return at some point.

Disliked: Very tight access to the field but just about manageable.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: If your like me and read reviews before you book anywhere then this is for you. I'd read many positive reviews of Bainside before booking, the wife and i stayed here for a few days and wasn't disappointed. The owners Fiona and Paul are lovely and very welcoming. The site is spacious and very clean, toilets and showers where immaculate. And it's so peaceful, you can just kick back and relax.. the pub next door when open is very nice and the food is excellent.. if anyone is thinking of booking I would highly recommend we can't wait to return, thanks again to Fiona and Paul, your site is beautiful

Disliked: Nothing at all

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite

Liked: The site was well kept, & easy accessibility to walks. There was a great fishing pond on site & friendly pub serving good food on side of campsite, it was a peaceful site, & the owners were extremely pleasant & available.

Disliked: Just needed a little upgrade in toilet/shower rooms, but they were clean & cleaned regularly.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, lovely to meet you both and glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We were a bit unsure why you scored accommodation as an 8/10 as you stayed in your own campervan. This is our first season and the toilet/shower block is booked in for a full renovation in January 2025, hopefully will be all complete for next years season. Hope to welcome you back again, enjoy your travels. Fiona and Paul
