  • Peaceful and friendly park in the Lincolnshire Fens
  • Dog-friendly with a huge dog walking field
  • Small sports field for ball games; kids' bar area with games to play
You might like to ponder on arrival who Orchard View Caravan & Camping Park would be most suited to, but you might be pondering for some time. For those who like the sound of silence: this is a serene and peaceful park away from noisy A-roads. Scenic sorts: the park is in the handsome Lincolnshire Fens, with waterways to explore nearby. Foodie types: the Fenland villages have all sorts of tasty treats to try – fresh farm produce, rated restaurants, tearooms, fresh fruit from roadside stalls and Lincolnshire sausages made in the market town of Spalding. And Fido: Orchard View is dog-friendly and has a huge (and safe) dog walking field with lots to sniff at. And finally, the little saplings: there's plenty of technology-free space for younger guests, including a wooden play area (for under 10s only) with a sandpit, swings and a slide, and a small sports field for ball games. Kids are also welcome in the children's area of the bar, where there are board games, puzzles and supervised use of the pool table. Amenities here include a shower block with hot showers. There’s a shop three miles away at Gedney Hill and you’ll find info galore on what to do in the local area in the tourist information cabin and in the bar – or you could just ask Ray and Maria what they recommend - they’ll be happy to help.

What customers say

This well-kept, super clean campsite is highly recommended. Owners Alex & James are exceptionally friendly & helpful. Guests loved the peaceful vibe, big pitches, and great facilities (toilets, showers, bar, food truck). Dog walking & kids' play areas are a plus. WiFi could be better, but most want to come back!

Liked Everything! The pitch was nice and level. The facilities were great. The clubhouse was amazing as was the food truck. Plenty of space for the dogs. Our boys didn't want to leave and neither did we! The site owners were really friendly and we felt welcome the whole time.

3 bedroom mobile home (pet friendly)

Liked Really nice quiet place. Standard of accommodation was really good, everything was clean and well equipped. There's a playground for the youngest kids, area for dogs to walk them, a pub for adults and food trac with really good burgers. The owner of the place are super friendly and helpful. Our car broken down during the trip and they go above and beyond too help us.

2 bedroom mobile home (no pets)

Liked Very peaceful, clean , tidy site. The 2 bedroomed caravan was very well set out & beautifully clean. We were greeted by the very pleasant owner. During the evening we spent time in the little club house, where we were made to feel welcome. My husband was impressed by the fact Guiness was served from a pump! Instructions as to how to acess the site were clear & easy to follow.

Liked Beautiful setting, really friendly, helpful owners. Clean toilets & showers with hairdryer if needed. Washing room, with sinks, washing machines & a freezer. Nice little football pitch & field to give furry friends a good walk. Totally flat so you can see for miles, lovely sunsets & sunrises. Food van & pub on weekends. Will definitely be returning, highly recommended.

2 bedroom mobile home (no pets)

Liked Love this place... Alex and James are so friendly and helpful. The park is extremely well kept and they are always adding something new.
We've been a few times now and always hired the 2 bedroom static, one day we'll take the dog and have the 3 bedroom pet friendly van.
It's about 30 mins to spalding and kings Lynn, both towns are really nice.
Can't fault the park or owners 😊

Local attractions

You’ll need to be active to work off all those Lincolnshire sausages, so take to the unexplored fens on Orchard View’s doorstep for cycling, riverside rambling and horse riding. Strolling around the shops is also a less strenuous way to work off the calories: Spalding has bargains galore in the Springfield Shopping Outlet. A scenic drive will take you to the towns of Hunstanton and Sandringham, but you can’t come to this part of Lincolnshire without also seeing seaside town Skeggy. It’s not just the seaside, the donkey rides and the funfair: the Natureland Seal Sanctuary is at Skegness too – and has tarantulas. Once the kids have recovered from their hair-raising tarantula experience, soothe them with a trip to Fantasy Island up the coast at Ingoldmells. Where, coincidentally enough, there’ll be a chance to go shopping again: with hundreds of stalls, the Eastgate Market is the biggest indoor seven-day market in Europe...
