  • A 30-acre site with five lakes within a short walk of Burgh le Marsh
  • Access to the Skegness seafront with a 10-minute drive or nearby bus
  • Four well-stocked fishing lakes; dog walks around the park perimeter
Feeling ready for some vitamin sea? Pull in at Sycamore Lakes Touring Site in Lincolnshire, 10 minutes' drive away from the Skegness seafront. There’s also a bus stop just outside the park with hourly buses to Skegness if you don’t want to get behind the wheel for such a short trip. You’ll hardly have to drive if you don’t fancy it, as the pitches also have access to a footpath through the back fields to the village of Burgh le Marsh. In the village, there is a heritage centre with a windmill and a restaurant, butchers, a post office, a bakery, pubs and a few small shops. It’ll take you under 20 minutes to get there on foot. Just watch, as a day can fly by at Sycamore Lakes Touring Site. The 30 acres of well-landscaped grounds have hundreds of mature trees and five lakes, including four well-stocked fishing lakes. There are excellent dog walks around the park perimeter and to the village. The grounds also have The Lakes Restaurant, which is already popular with locals. If you do want to scout out what’s further afield, there are five golf courses within a short drive of the site. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is a 20-minute drive away, and it’s a five-minute drive to the very edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, which has pretty villages and stunning walks.

Liked: Great site for camping really big grass pitches with or without ehu. Family and pet friendly. Amenities spotless everyday Restaurant on site ,they even do takeaway.4 fishing lakes with a tackle shop. village is a nice 10 minute stroll, with a coop several takeaways and drinking places.just a 20 min drive to the coast. Cannot rate the place high enough. That why we have booked again for next summer before we left.

Powered grass and earth campsite

Liked: Very clean site, lovely helpful lady in the reception,. The toilet block is very clean not sure the big coronavirus signs are necessary any more. The showers were nice and hot but if you were early took about 6 presses on the shower button before the water became hot. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the town that has several pubs and a few shops, the co op was open until ten handy if you have forgotten anything or fancy a snack. Short drive to Skegness or the bus stop is just outside the site.

Disliked: There were several toilets but only one hand dryer and the toilet roll is the worst I have encountered anywhere! The Restaurant on site is very expensive with ridiculous priced wines, doesn’t open for breakfast either. Wi-Fi is available but pretty weak.
