  • Simple riverside touring pitches by a mill in Wainfleet All Saints
  • A 10-minute drive from Skegness; 20 minutes from Lincolnshire Wolds
  • Pre-booked discounted brewery tours available
Pitching up where your pints are brewed – with pubs and brewery tours on hand too? If you’ve raised a glass to that fine idea, make tracks to Batemans Brewery Caravan Site, in the village of Wainfleet All Saints. There’s much here to appeal to beer fans, of course – you can see how the ales are created in the brewery, then take a five-minute stroll to sample the results in the local pub alongside your dinner. There’s another fine pub five minutes’ drive away in the village of Croft too if you fancy mixing things up a bit, and a small supermarket a few minutes' walk away for picking up any supplies you may need. It’s not all about beer around here though – this is a super spot in a lovely Lincolnshire location, with a river running alongside and an old windmill giving the place a sense of heritage. Days out visiting the likes of Skegness, Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, Gunby Hall and the Lincolnshire Wolds are all easy to get to as well (all of the aforementioned are within a 20-minute drive). A toilet and shower block is available next to the site in the parking area. It is locked and only to be used by guests on site; you'll be given a code by the site. Please note that the camping area is car-free; a separate parking area is available a short distance from the pitches. As this is a working brewery, early starts are possible. This site is not staffed.

What customers say

This quiet, well-kept site offers clean facilities, a charming village location, and easy access to local amenities. Guests love the spacious sites, value, and brewery tours. Occasional brewery noise, toilet paper shortages, and infrequent cleaning during busy times were noted. The unmanned aspect can cause confusion with pitch allocation/access.

Liked The pitches are spacious, plenty of room. Despite the brewery being across the road it was peaceful and quiet. The turning from the main road is clearly marked as us the entrance to the carpark and pitches. The toilet and showers are very clean. Whilst the site is unmanned it isn't a problem. We would definitely stay again.
The WiFi was excellent!

Disliked Not really a dislike, just a note that there's nothing really to do on the site.

Liked Has electric and showers and is a great location. Next a river with nice walks and a very interesting history to the town. Wainfleet is a lovely town with several pubs and takeaways, bus and train, and easy access to the coast. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Definitely a site to come back to in the future.

Disliked Shower facilities were good but could be cleaner, there were not enough facilities when the site was full.

Liked Quiet site and handy for Skegness

Disliked Very poor pitch. There is a tree right in front of the pitch (number 12) that prohibits you from manouvering correctly through fear of damage by the overhead branches and limiting your turning space. Couldn't put the awning up as guy ropes were on the neighbouring pitch. Called the help number (no contact staff on site) to be told they were fully booked all weekend. Funny as there were other pitches empty for the length of our stay
No toilet paper in two different cubicles
One shower out of order

Liked Fantastic site we've been here lots of times before and will be back again for sure. Great location in a lovely little village with a park, shop, takeaway and pub all you could need! The site itself is fab, showers are lovely and warm, always clean and plenty of loo roll and hand towels etc. Easy to book and fantastic value. Only a short drive from Skegness as well which is perfect.

Disliked The only thing we miss is no outside washing up area, not essential but something we use on other sites we stay at. Also would be nice if there were some swings/ a slide for the kids. Again not essential as there's one in the village but just to have something on site for them.

Liked Location. Site. Peace and quiet.
Brewery tour was brilliant as was the food at the Woolpack.
Wainfleet is great and you must visit the library.

Disliked Toilets ran out of toilet paper Sunday morning. Mid way through a bank holiday weekend (Easter) the site really do need a cleaner every day.

Liked History before your eyes. What a fantastic campsite. It is a shame the the bar wasn't open at the brewery. You cannot fault the facilities. Great place great people. Close to town centre, chinese, supermarket and a few pubs within a ten minute walk. There is a station with a regular service to Skegness.

Disliked Not much to dislike.

Local attractions

While enjoying the present moment is lovely, a little bit of the past can liven up your holiday even more. That certainly rings true at the National Trust’s Gunby Hall and Gardens (15 minutes), where there's a country house of old, or the Bubblecar Museum (35 minutes), where it's possible to join in on ride days in historic microcars. Another way to get around, there’s a horse riding centre (25 minutes) within driving distance of the site too. There are rare-breed horses at the Northcote Heavy Horse Centre (15 minutes) - just call in to meet all the residents. And for more animals, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (10 minutes) or Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (15 minutes) could be another port of call (binoculars are a handy accomplice for this second one). While the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (20 minutes) delivers when it comes to natural beauty and walks galore, it’s in Skegness (10 minutes) that the beach, aquarium and seal sanctuary take the spotlight. There’s all the activity of the rides at the Fantasy Island theme park (20 minutes) too, a good one for the kids in your group.
