Liked: Very chilled out campsite. Onsite pub was an added bonus with friendly staff and nice outside seating area. We have a reactive dog so the open space was great
Disliked: Toilet and washing facilities could do with a freshen up and a clean

Liked: Manager was very helpful, Good size pitch
Disliked: Safety Sign’s all need replacing such as “Dogs on leads at all times” then maybe the family across wouldn’t have let their dogs just wander about coming on to our pitch and starting a fight with our tethered dog who was minding his own business!! Toilets need a freshen up

Liked: We visit this site often and we love the little fishing pond, and the fact that there is a pub on site... the toilets are kept nice and clean and the staff are always friendly.
Disliked: This particular time we stayed, there was alot of noise from another tent... I'm talking 2.30am in the morning, yelling and screaming and partying, we have a little baby so it's the last thing we want on a chilled weekend away. I think they should have been told to keep it down by the owners, its really not fair on other campers. Also, if the pub did food, that would be amazing

Liked: Everything about this place was amazing I traveled for a boys weekend in my motorhome for some fishing and a nice break and that is exactly what we got, we asked for a pitch by the lake and they gave us the most beautiful spot on the site and the staff in the pub were very friendly and very welcoming and you could have a great friendly chat with them.
Disliked: Not much to dislike about the place at all but the owners did say that the toilet and shower facilities were being upgraded as we speak but what they had was quite adequate for the weekend for us what more do you want you are on a campsite lol . I really don’t understand picky people , we will definitely be returning to this lovely place and the lake is well stocked as we are not professionals just like a go at fishing and we caught around 40 fish between us.

Liked: Nice site, train track at side but not a issue, staff very helpful, bar prices good.
Disliked: Maybe loose all the cobwebs and dead flies in the toilet & shower area, gents , makes a great difference.
