From the manager: Thank you for your review and comments.
We value input and work on improving facilities all the time. We aim to get further ideas for the showers during this season
Quiet and peaceful site; on-site facilities need thorough investment
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Shed showers were a novelty and worked well
Disliked Toilet facilities and pot washing facilities are quite run down and untidy.

From the manager: Thank you for your review , we are sad that we didn't achieve our usual level of service for you .
We run a small campsite with sustainability at its heart and recycle as much as we are able.
We do have books and games in the Summerhouse for children and during the summer holidays put an activity tent up for children to play in and make use of the toys inside.
We are always approachable as we live nextdoor and if there are issues with facilities we positively encourage campers to let us know.
We know there was an issue with one of the toilets which was left in a bit of a state. We hope that campers do remember that there are other guests and leave facilities how they would like to find them .
We hope you enjoy your camping experiences in future.
Kind Regards Angela and Roy

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Brilliant little site. I picked a night with the worst rain storm for months. Because of that I had the place more or less to myself. Owner was away, but the only other camper ( who's been going for seven years ) took my money. Field is flat with a decent hedge to keep the wind off where I parked. Showers clean, toilet clean. But they would be with no visitors. Easy to find. I'll certainly be going back. If you visit, tell them Steve sent you....
Disliked I don't know what it would be like at the height of the season but I think I would atill like to visit.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we are really glad you enjoyed your stay here.
An enjoyable stay.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Pitches were spacious and tidy. Toilets and showers although basic were clean. Plenty of hot water I liked that the showers were not clammy or steamy so easy to get dry. Met on arrival by owner (a really nice chappie) and shown pitch. There are covered facilities housing the fridges inc. a wine fridge. Also, there is a garden house with chairs and a table that can be utilised by campers if they need a place to sit.
Disliked Nothing to dislike
