Liked: Everything! Well, as it should be, described as per the website ad. Excellent check-in process, and good advice in order for us to walk to the Village pub.
Disliked: Not really a dislike, but my only suggestion for potential improvement would be perhaps some additional lighting around the toilet/shower block. Doesnât need to be on permanent, perhaps just motion detected as you approached.

From the manager: Thanks for the feedback, we have been thinking about the lighting .. Will put it on the list for the winter jobs đđ

Liked: The facilities
Disliked: The attitude of the manager when we requested to change our date so we didn't have to go with our kids on there first camping trip in the pouring down rain and thunders/lightening. Customer service should be at the forefront and this was not a priority for this manager. When we arrived we was told we could get shower tokens and when we went to get shower tokens the manager wasn't available to provide them. We left a day early and the overall experience wasn't welcoming.

From the manager: Was waiting for this one ! My attitude was very polite when you phoned me the day before you were due to arrive.. Iâm sorry I didnât change your booking to a âsunny dateâ but this is the uk.. it rains ! Wellies and raincoats make happy holidays too .. splashing in puddles, walking in the woods visiting fabulous attractions in the Forest of Dean that are there rain or shine.. reception was open from 9 til 11 am and 2 til 7pm for you to purchase shower tokens .. thatâs 7 hours !! Also it clearly states in the pitch up information that we are unable to change bookings due to the weather forecast. Maybe camping just isnât for you đ
