Liked: Stayed midweek, very peaceful and lots of space. Beautiful views across the fields and easy walk to the farm shop (very well stocked!) and cafe. A simple site, with just the basics but that’s the point. Long drop compost loos in the woods and water from the farms borehole.

Liked: This is a beautiful site, I camped in the wildflower field, with views of the rolling hills around. Just stunning. The toilets/ showers/ sink for washing dishes are entirely functional and definitely gives a flavour of a wilder camp with charm, which lends itself to helping you switch off totally and be in touch with nature. The farm shop was much more substantial than I expected and I’ve even booked again so I can come back and explore more!

Liked: Size of the field was great, lots of space and could choose where to go. Good spacious facilities.
Disliked: Bins and recycling are a drive back to the farm shop which isn't bad but I think it discourages recycling a little. A recycling wheely bin at the end of the road by the gate might encourage more people to separate their waste.

Liked: We stayed in the yurts, which were perfect for our family gathering. Kitchen was a great bonus. And the yurts kept us warm and dry in the rain. Logs were supplied and restocked upon request which was a great help. We loved lighting the fire in the water boiler, and the bucket shower.
Disliked: Having to use wheelbarrows to transfer all our stuff, it would have been much better to just allow one trip in the car for set up and take down.

Liked: Lovely landscape and walk through the forest to Farm Shop!
Disliked: Didn’t like the proximity to the road and the short lunch service (12-2:30) as we arrived after 2:30 and couldn’t eat in the cafe - some information on this when booking would be helpful.
