Liked: The location was great. 5min drive to Buxton. Warm welcome upon arrival, easy instructions of where to go and how to access the toilets/showers which were spotless and the highest standard we've encountered! Great play area for the little ones too.
Disliked: Not a dislike but a note...as others say, the camping field is slightly hilly but hey, it is the Peak District! Didn't bother us on our weekend stay.

Liked: Everything. Rural site but only a 30 min walk across fields into centre of Buxton. Site was immaculate with excellent facilities for showering and washing up. The Trackside bar, at the Buxton Brewery was 15 mins walk and well worth a visit. We camped on one of the flat terraces. Lots of young families staying. A very peaceful site. Hope to come back with grandchildren later in year

Liked: Me and a friend booked this break away last minute and it was one of the only places we could get as it was bank holiday. I can honestly say we was not disappointed in anyway. we got a very warm welcome on arrival and got chauffeured by 2 members of staff to our tent pitch. The toilet/shower block were extremely clean and excellent as the showers were free to use. It felt very safe and was a very peaceful campsite. it was a short walk into buxton too which meant we could sample a few wines before walking back. Would 100 percent stay again and recommend to others.

Liked: The location was great, with easy access into Buxton by foot with a variety of footpath options through gorgeous landscape. An online shop was also good to have available (though a shame the milk option was UHT) however with a petrol station close by, we weren’t really ever short of any supplies. The staff were really friendly.
Disliked: There were a few things about this campsite that were less than ideal. The slope of the field was a little steep for my liking. The main issue though was that on both full days that we were there, there wasn’t any hot water, which meant cold showers and ineffective washing up of pots. A bit disappointing considering the price.

Liked: We received a very friendly welcome and the facilities were spotlessly clean, couldn’t fault them. The staff were regularly around the camping field to assist with any problems. The shop at the campsite was well stocked!
Disliked: The camping field was on quite a steep hill, so it was tricky to keep anything an a table without it rolling off!
