Liked: Facilities were amazing, very clean and lovely showers without a timer or additional charge to use - perfect after a day walking. Kitchen and communal area was a very nice touch too. Space to walk our dog was very welcome and the pitch itself was very spacious. The cottages also look lovely and we will be looking to return to stay in one soon!
Disliked: Road is quite noisy all times of the day and night but we did visit over a sunny bank holiday too..

Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt campervan campsite (no awning)
Liked: This campsite is a little gem. We stayed on a non electric pitch that was off the main camping area. It was still close to the facilities and had an amazing view over all the fields. It was lovely and quiet and had a nice dog walking area in the field. The facilities are some of the best we've seen on a campsite. We ate at the local pub which was extremely good in the lovely little village nearby. I would advise to book if u want to go later it was getting very busy with bookings while we were there. Loved everything about this site, would highly recommend.
Disliked: We did struggle with WiFi.

Liked: Facilities were amazing, never come across a communal area and fully equipped kitchen before, amazing. Showers and toilet area, very clean, warm and plenty of hot water with showers that stay on!
Disliked: Unfortunately the description of the site didn't quite sit right with us. Peaceful is used in the first line, well in our opinion it felt like sitting in a car park next to a race track! Relentless cars/motorbikes racing past, no peace and quiet at all so sadly not for us. Plus it did mention a pub in a short staggering distance I don't call 1.1 miles that, didn't bother us just felt misled by the description.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments, we would never want to mislead anyone and will promptly review the description which has been written by Pitchup writers. We do say that the pub is a 20 minutes walk up into the village. We do have all weather pitches and the roads around the Peak District can get busy at peak times.
