Primitive grass tent campsite (four person)
Liked: This was a lovely campsite with gorgeous views of the sunset in the evening. We were also really impressed with the shower facilities and washing up station, that always had really hot water. The farm shop and cafe were also great, and seemed fairly reasonably priced.
Disliked: My only dislike was the way in was quite steep and my car struggled a bit on all the stones. This was a minor thing though and we had a wonderful weekend.

Liked: The Cafe and Shop are excellent. Great food, good service and free WiFi. The shop carries essential supplies for camping as well as local produce. Superb!
Disliked: On the lower field we struggled to park our van level, even with blocks. The toilet facilities weren't brilliant either - no hooks or surfaces to put things and the locks were tricky, especially for the kids. And it's an inconvenience having to have loose change to operate the showers.

Liked: Staff were lovely, amazing views of the cows in the morning. Toilets and showers were both incredibly clean. Water and wash up facilities were perfect. Although we didn’t make use of the shop/cafe/bar all looked well stocked. The shop had everything you could need for a stay on the campsite!
Disliked: Showers were amazing and hot, but is a little fustrating having to pay a £1 for them despite already paying a higher price for the campsite. Did read that people have been taking advantage of them etc but maybe a token system?
