Disliked: Booked as a family of 4 on a touring pitch to arrive Sat lunch. Paid tge extra premium of this site as we knew it had a pool / wet weather option. When we arrived they said the pool was closed got maintenance (not communicated on booking) and we had to book for Sunday but as checkout was 11am they only had PM slots....so sorry. We should have just gone to a normal site and saved ourselves the £25+ premium per night. Also the food stall they have advertising food in eve and morning never opened....

Liked: Great playground for kids.
Disliked: General Manager Steve was an absolute disgrace. Intimidatingly patrolling the site. We had driven into a our pitch rather than reversed in and were approached by Steve in an aggressive manner and told in front of our young children that our holiday would be "terminated" if we didn't move it immediately. He showed absolutely no interested in engaging with us further than this. Zero customer service skills. It was so upsetting we felt the need to complain to Park Holidays - someone like this shouldn't be working in a family environment! A complete let down to an otherwise decent campsite and to the other lovely staff members.

Liked: Lovely quiet park
Disliked: General manager Steve. Like a Sergeant Major patrolling the ground asserting authority, not what anyone needs when camping. Patrolling round with doberman or buggy. Been to the site many times, it was really quiet, like soul sucked out of it, quite sad to be honest, won't go back again. There was lots of space and early summer, presumably other abandoned a once lovely site. People go camping to escape everyday lives, chill out, they don't want micro managers laying down pathetic laws.

Liked: What a fantastic site! I only stayed for one night as a stopover to do some laundry and my utilities but I really enjoyed my stay! The facilities are fantastic - laundry was on an app and easy to use, the staff were friendly and helpful, I used the swimming pool twice and it was clean and warm. The shower block was clean and hot showers. I booked a grass motorhome pitch but as soon as I arrived the lady at reception offered me a hardstanding pitch as one was available. It was the perfect spot and I had the sunshine all evening. I honestly don't know how they can make any money for what they charge - I was off peak on a weekday but the value for money was excellent. Highly recommend!
