Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Location was great for the kids. Lovely little park on site too although some seating around it would be great. As it was quite quiet there was lots of space for the kids to run around. Toilets/dishwashing area/laundry clean.
Disliked: The service throughout the resort was shocking. The toilet seats were fitted to far back so kept falling down. Shower curtains and push button taps, no temperature control.

Liked: The campsite is close to everything. Plenty to do near by. Very quirky campsite nice to have a walk around. Owners very nice and accommodating. Facilities dated but very clean and perfectly usable.
Disliked: Not a relaxing break. Don't come here for a quiet stay. Kids playing football on the caravan field and the ball kept hitting the caravans no one asked them to stop. Loud music playing from some of the people staying there, it did stop at 9:30 ISH but it's not the sort of thing you want going on next to you. Don't think we would return but that is just our opinion.

Liked: The hosts were very helpful and friendly, with excellent service. The toilet and shower facilities were nice, clean, and well-kept. Washing up facilities are also good. I did notice the washing machine was out of order though. Pitch was flat and level.
Disliked: Noisy inconsiderate campers close by. Kids running about after dark. Pitches are close together. Not so good for solo travellers or those looking for a peaceful stay. Close to town so people in and out a lot. To be fair it is next to a fun park and a large pub so this is to be expected.

Liked: Great campsite, unexpected entertainment on the Satuday night was a great bonus, especially when our son won the kids bingo! Themed campsite is a lovely place to stay, everywhere is very well kept too.
Disliked: The only downside I can think of is the family bathroom drainage was poor, so there was a huge muddy puddle but it didn't stop us using it.

Disliked: Electric hook up a bit too far from pitch, not the case for all pitches I might add.

Liked: What a great location. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The pitch was spacious and the facilities were extremely clean & tidy. Although we cooked onsite, we did visit the pub over the road and the coffee shop over the canal. The nearby WIllan lake was great with all the activities available. Will definitely visit again.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Camping as a family with 2 kids aged 10yr and 19yrs. The location of this campsite is perfect, just a short walk to Gullivers, and about 10 minutes stroll to Willen Lake. Loads of things to do in the surrounding area. The staff were brilliant from the on set, very helpful and informative. The site layout is good, with a variety of camping/glamping/caravan areas. We had plenty of space for our 3mx5m tent and car. Facilities for washing up/laundry/showers etc were really good. Little onsite shop with some essentials plus the Dinoland gift shop for toys and treats. Onsite bar with food options was good. Little kids mini disco was a hit for the 10year even if she was a little bit old for it.
Disliked: Nothing
