From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. There is an outside washing-up sink with running cold water, and there is also hot water available inside the toilet block. Guests simply need to fill a bowl with hot water inside and take it outside to use at the washing-up sink. As for the cockerels, we are a rural campsite and they are unfortunately part and parcel of the countryside. They don’t operate to campsite hours and can be heard throughout the day and night. Regarding the bins, we appreciate that overflowing bins are unpleasant and we are looking at ways to manage the waste more effectively. Unfortunately, some campers use the bins for large amounts of rubbish, including boxes and broken equipment, which means they fill much quicker than they should. We’re a small, basic rural campsite offering affordable pitches, and we’re sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
