Powered grass and gravel motorhome site
Liked Peaceful site with mature trees which offered some shade on sunny days. Facilities were excellent and very clean. Owners were very helpful and offered a solution quickly to an issue I had with my unit. The owners had thoughtfully put up ahelpful video of the site entrance and approach ,which I feel is an excellent idea, on there site.

Liked A lovely welcome from Alison, who provided all the information I needed to get set up. Good spacious level pitch with Electric and water. Facilities were good and clean, a washup area with hot water, two spacious shower rooms were great as I had two children under 8 with me- this kept us all together in one space. The water was hot enough for us all. The site is geared for children, my two had a wonderful time mixing in with the other children staying- It was the end of the Easter holidays. The Cafe and barn play area was excellent, this was also used by day visitors and birthday parties. A small charge was made for the use of the play barn- £2.50 per child , all day in our case. This was a quiet site, only noise was farm vehicles, great for star gazing and good walks from the site. What's not to like!
Disliked I was prepared for this slight niggle- no facility for chemical toilet disposal. This is a very new site in development, along with running a farm, bear this in mind. However I am assured by George that installation is at the top of his "todo" list

Unpowered gravel and concrete motorhome site
Liked Superb views, quiet mountain experience, like minded campers.
Disliked The code to get into the area had changed on the day I arrived. However, there was
a warden who stays on the site who gave me the correct code to get and get out. It was just a little niggle really but if I had turned up late there may have been an issue.

Liked A blissful place to stay, almost in the Golden Valley, with only a few spacious pitches surounded by a various mature trees, in a well fenced area. The showers, washing up kitchen with washing machine, freezers and a small shop with essentials ( at not inflated prices) and chemical waste were all new and very clean. There was plenty of hot water and new picnic tables. We were the only visitors on the site and chose the hardstanding- because of the very wet recent weather. The pub ,which is part of the site, is only open Thursday to Sunday, serving pie and mash meals, so be aware. This is a new venture for the owners and in time and the economic situation will offer a wider variety on the menu and open the pub for more days, hopefully. We will return again to let mother nature's fingers sooth our troubled brows !

Wedding Meadow powered concrete and grass tent or motorhome site
Liked A good welcome on arrival, including the need to know information. The pitch was surronded by willow saplings, level-grassed hardcore, with electric and water. This is an eco friendly site-facilties were rustic, including composting toilets, all of which kept scrupulously clean. If you want a hideaway place to commune with nature this is an idyllic spot. Bliss ! The owner, checked in with me every day to " see if I needed anything" What was not to like!
