Powered grass caravan site
Liked The relaxed approach. You get to choose your own pitch and are not bothered by the owners. The toilet and shower facilities are fine.
Disliked Only a minor thing, but the wash up area is poorly designed. The trough sink is not practical to use.

Unpowered grass and earth site
Liked A spacious and fairly secluded site. A sensible and easy to use system for checking in has been implemented without needing to go into the pub. Clean toilet and shower facilities. Priced realistically.

Power optional concrete and grass site
Liked The Castle seemed to be a safe and secluded site during our weekday stay, I have no doubt it gets much busier on a weekend and during school holidays. Cawood seems a very intersting place with some good walks and history to be uncovered. Its possible that the tiolet/shower facilities may be in high demand when the site is fully ocupied but we didnt experience this.
Disliked £35/night is expensive in comparison to similar sites.
Not specific to the site itself but all 3 pubs in Cawood were either shut or not serving food on Tuesday nights, this may well change after lockdown.

Powered concrete and grass motorhome site
Liked Clean and tidy site, good arrangements set up with showers for COVID. Pub was handy and the food (breakfast and take away) was very good. A good location for a few decent circular walks (routes provided) and close to both Bakewell and Buxton
Disliked No breakfast available from the pub on weekdays
