Liked Bell tent was spacious and well pitched. Great location for exploring the north coast. Low price. Fridge and freezer handy although other inconsiderate with the amount kept in there and had done and entire weekly shop for a large family!

Disliked Lack of owner/manager presence meant low noise curfew was not enforced so loud noise from others on the site until midnight some nights which did not suit us as have young children who are up at 5.30am! And use of unsafe fires in very dry weather. No recycling which was disappointing. When staff came to empty the bin he kindly took our recycling to put in his own. Bell tents close to toilets, wash up and exit so busy with people and cars. Fresh water and waste disposal not signed. Only 3 toilets. Shower temperature not adjustable and was too hot for the children.

Liked Lovely, helpful host who was willing to spend time finding you the right pitch. Flexibility of where to pitch. I wanted a lakeside view and it was well delivered! Opportunity to proper wild camp if you wished or pitch up closer to the amenities. The bird life was amazing. Able to have a camp fire.

Disliked Some noise from nearby gravel pit and tip where I was pitched but the views and wildlife really made up for this and it couldn't be heard from the other end of the farm where others were pitched. The google map directions on pitch up aren't correct. Search for Bain Valley Fisheries
