Liked Friendly owner The children loved feeding the chickens Ok for one night

Disliked Being out the front on some grass next to the car park. This was noisy next to the road, not secure and we felt disconnected from the site. We did not know we’d be put here because we have a dog. The play area - it is a good 20/25 minute walk from the site and shouldn’t be listed as a facility in my opinion. I use the park facility to filter our results. We didn’t use it in the end as gave up walking after 20 minutes and still hadn’t reached it.

From the manager: A 20/25 minute walk? Were you hopping or crawling? It's a 3 minute walk through beautiful Welsh countryside - me thinks you got lost, which I would consider quite the achievement!

Liked Great play areas, flat pitch, clean facilities and great stop off location

Disliked Did have a car park feel - just needs some more greenery on the hard standing pitches

Disliked Terrible toilet / shower ‘facilities’. Not family friendly at all. Small port a loo style toilets and showers. Impossible to use with small children, no benches or space to change, water temperature dangerous and kept going from freezing to burning, blocked drains so the showers flooded, full of mould, didn’t see them cleaned at all, empty toilet rolls, not even a soap dispenser in the one toilet. 7 cubicles for the whole site, not enough. Washing up facilities also rubbish - small area and no hot water.
