Liked Peaceful, enough space, basic but functional facilities. don't come here if you want entertainment/clubhouse/to let your kids run ferral, Internet, takeaways. Do come here if you want peace and quiet, a place to rest your head and read your book, to enjoy the view and relax!

Disliked Local roads have massive potholes...campsite tracks in much better condition.

From the manager: so pleased you enjoyed the rustic nature of the campsite. sadly there are the odd bugs around but hope it was not too much of a problem.

Liked Beautiful views, peace and quiet cannot be described, woods to wander in, lovely walks, quiet stream, butterflies, crickets humming away in the grasses, compost toilet not unpleasant at all, Vicky was great - very attentive, the array of birds you hear chatting away is fab and not like home at all.

Disliked Mosquitos and horse flies are out, bring repellent! And there are occasional gunshots from a nearby field so if your dog is afraid of fireworks be warned.
